OSYS is a two part organisation (agency/platform) that is built to host, leverage and develop talent in the web3 sector.
OSYS was conceptualised by a group of web3 enthusiasts looking to make a positive impact - We believe that by changing the way we source and develop talent we can nurture the web3 ecosystem in a healthier, more transparent way.
The web3 sector is a complex array of individuals and organisations. Until now it has operated with little infrastructure or regulation in regards to employment, working relationships and career development.
This lack of infrastructure has created barriers to growth in the sector - Employers have limited access to verified candidates and candidates have limited access to opportunities. This creates a negative feedback loop and only serves to slow innovation.
As the sector grows this problem worsens - As demand for talent/work increases so does the need for a more accessible/connected workforce.
We believe that by connecting people to projects in a more open, transparent way we can facilitate growth in the Web3 labour market, allowing us to “Inspire & innovate” for years to come.
We want to create a system that promotes trust and transparency between employees and employers in the space - Whilst serving a useful purpose. Enabling smarter/more efficient outsourcing and career building also helps us to add value to the sector as well as the individuals and organisations we work with.
The web3 sector can be seen as a cluster of bubbles - An array of projects and ideas with their own communities, echo chambers and ideals. Each with their own trust, value and talent networks.
Within these bubbles exists an untapped collective of resources, talent and intelligence - The existing infrastructure that links these networks is barebones and “profit driven”.
What is needed is an open system that is focused on community collaboration, peer review and talent sharing. A system that can be used by anyone to build credibility through demonstration.
OSYS aims to bring people, products and expertise under one roof to work towards three common goals - Inspiring, innovating and educating.
Our unique aspects lie in our systems, handling of working relationships and use of NFTs as a means of identification.
Part of building a web3 career also involves building a credible personal brand - our NFTs can help our agents to demonstrate reliability and expertise through our on chain worklogs. Our keycards are designed to be displayed and can be personalised by the agent to supplement these existing personal or business brands.
There also exists a lack of tailored professional development and career building spaces in this sector. OSYS stands out as an altruistic, reliable and trusted organisation in a space where few exist.
NFT levels allow us to reward those who contribute fairly.(NFT levels are separate from trust ratings but serve a similar purpose)
NFTs can be upgraded through contributions to OSYS and our community. A contribution could be as simple as referring talent or as complex as creating educational materials - Each contribution will be independently reviewed. (Initially by OSYS and then passed on to a peer review)
